IIT-JEE Coaching in India: Fees, Scholarships, Selection Ratios, Rankings Coaching Industry
A student-and-parent guide to comparing coaching institutes, scholarship exams, results, and the real cost of preparing forthe IITs. Choosing an IIT-JEE coaching institute is one of the biggest academic and financial decisions for students after Class 10or Class 12. Families often compare institutes such as Physics Wallah (PW), ALLEN Career Institute, Resonance, andMotion Education. But which institute is best? Which charges the lowest fees? Where can students get scholarships of 50%, 75%, or even90%? And what do reported selections and All India Ranks actually tell us? This article compares the main factors students should examine. It also explains an important limitation: a coachinginstitute’s total selection count is not the same as its selection ratio, and a scholarship of 90% does not necessarily meanthat every student pays only 10% of the total cost of studying and living. Research note: Figures below distinguish published fee information, indicative market ranges, and data that must beconfirmed with the institute.
